Practical Magic & Mystical Mingling

A Little Practical Magic An Enchanted Evening with IDS at Specialty Appliance The Concept The idea is magic for the home. Lavender for luck, rosemary for remembrance, salt for protection, botanicals and the moon, all layered into a beautiful, candlelit evening of design, food, appliances and a little practical magic. The Experiences A Little Moon Magic | Crescent Moon Decorating Guests create their own crescent moon wall hanging using dried florals, lavender, rosemary, greenery and ribbon. A little magic to take home. Plant a Little Luck | Lavender Planting Guests pot a small lavender plant to take home, along with a beautiful card sharing lavender's traditional associations with luck, calm, love and protection. A Pinch of Protection | Salt Bar An elevated culinary salt blending station where guests create their own custom salt blend using flaky or coarse salt, dried herbs, citrus and spices. Each guest bottles their blend in a small apothecary jar to take home. Remember the Magic | Rosemary Rather than another planting activity, guests create small rosemary bundles tied with velvet ribbon and a tiny charm or handwritten intention tag. Rosemary has long been associated with remembrance and fidelity. For the people, places and moments worth remembering. Midnight Margaritas | Signature Cocktail Experience This should absolutely be the signature cocktail moment. Margaritas, music and a fun group experience inspired by the movie Practical Magic. A little nostalgic, a little playful and perfectly on theme.
